November Consignment Update - Check the Light!
As we head into the holiday season, we’re as excited as ever to stock up on quality gear for our community! We’re currently accepting winter consignment items, but here’s the scoop: our racks are nearly full — so we’re a bit more selective in what we’re taking in this month. Fingers crossed this cooler weather brings more people coming in to prep for their winter adventures.
Consignment Status: Check the Light!
To keep things easy, we have a new system in place: the Consignment Light: You'll see it in the window facing the carpark.
- Light ON: We’re actively accepting consignment!
- Light OFF: We’re holding off on new items to make room.
If you're bringing in items, be sure to check the light in-store.
What We’re Looking For
With space being tight, we're focusing on high-demand items like winter outerwear, layering pieces, skis/snowboards, and any gear that’s built to last through a Minnesota winter. Here are some specific items we’re seeking:
- Technical Outerwear (jackets, snow pants, bibs)
- Base Layers & Insulating Layers
- Winter Footwear
- Backcountry & Snow Sports Gear
This list will keep us stocked on the essentials our customers need while giving your gear the best shot at selling fast!
FAQs for Consignors
Q: What if I want to consign but the light is off?
When the light is off, it means we’ve paused consignment temporarily, but we encourage you to check back! If you have winter gear ready to go, we’ll do our best to take it in when space opens up.
Q: What items typically sell the fastest?
Our customers love quality, durable gear in good condition — especially pieces that are lightweight, packable, and perfect for layering.
Q: Do I need an appointment to consign?
No appointment is necessary. Just keep an eye on the consignment light!
