October Consignment Update - Now Accepting Winter Gear!

Winter’s almost here, and we’re all about embracing the cold, snowy fun at Janky Gear (or at least trying to). If you're one of those people getting stoked for ski trips, snowboarding adventures, or just cozying up in the perfect winter gear, we've got you covered! Starting October 1st, we're opening up our winter consignment program—so bring in your skis, snowboards, and all your winter gear. Whether you're clearing out your closet or hunting for something new (to you), this is the perfect time to get ready for the season.

Important Notes on Ski & Snowboard Consignment

Planning to consign skis or snowboards? Here are a few key things to keep in mind:

• We only accept skis and boots that are 10 years or newer. Older equipment can become unsafe due to wear and tear on materials like plastic and bindings.
• You'll need to sign a form certifying your gear is 10 years or newer.
• We do not accept 3-pin cross-country skis or skis without bindings.
• Cross-country skis must have NNN or SNS bindings.
• No gear with core shots, delaminated top sheets, or epoxy repairs will be accepted.

Prepping Your Gear for Consignment

Here’s how to make sure your stuff sells fast:

1. Inspect for Damage: Make sure your gear is in good condition, with no significant wear or damage.
2. Clean Your Gear: A clean snowboard or jacket will sell faster than something covered in dust or dirt.
3. Provide Detailed Information: Include key details like brand, size, and any special features. For skis and snowboards, certify that they are 10 years or newer.
